The city of Antillus is one of the High Cities of Alera, namesake for the house of Antillus and ruled at the start of the series by High Lord Antillus Raucus and High Lady Antillus Dorotea.
The city is located in the extreme north-west of Alera, bordered by the sea on the west and the Shieldwall on the North. Along with Phrygia on the far east, the Legions and Citizenry of Antillus maintain and man the Shieldwall, the massive bastion between the Aleran people and the Icemen Tribes of the North.
