Not to be confused with the Realm of Alera, Alera is a Great Fury representing the entirety of the lands of the Realm. Made up of many formless furies brought together by Gaius Primus' construction of the Mosaic in the First Lord's Citadel. It is the House of Gaius' link to Alera that allows the First Lords to perform some of their more impressive feats, such as Gaius Sextus' cessation of the Canim-sent monsoons, and the eruption of the mountain under Alera Imperia during the Vord War.
